PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Whether you're a performer, a writer or a director, Northern Stage can provide you with ways in which to explore your talents.
We run a
Performance Group
open to anyone over the age of 16. Members produce a piece of theatre once a year that sits alongside Northern Stage's professional programme of work and are sometimes asked to audition for small parts in Northern Stage productions, as well as regularly being invited to take part in projects and shows run by the Literary & Philosophical Society. Members also get advanced booking information for workshops with a variety of local and national artists. For more information click the link on the left.

Culture
Club Awards. Click the performance group link to find out more!***
This autumn we have launched our first ever
Young Performance Group
for people aged 13 - 16, focusing on what 'happy ever after' means to young people today. Unfortunately the group is now full but hopefully the Young Performance Group will become a regular feature in the Northern Stage calendar so keep your eyes peeled! To find out more why not come along to the final performance on Tuesday 9 December on the set of our magical under sixes show,
The Goblin Who Saved Christmas.
We also run a monthly scratch night,
First in Three
, which allows developing artists to try out new ideas in front of the paying public. For more information
We hope to see you on one of our three stages soon!
