Elizabeth & Raleigh

11 October 2008 - 11 October, 2008

Comedy

Elizabeth and Raleigh: Late but Live
A new comedy by Stewart Lee
Directed by Owen Lewis

Raleigh introduces Elizabeth, the wittiest, wisest and most unforgiving of English Queens. He’s in love with Elizabeth, the spiritual embodiment of England. But will he end up in her bed, or will he lose his head? Expect potatoes, tobacco, Elizabethan dance, cross-dressing, xenophobia and laughs galore.

Starring Simon Munnery (Attention Scum! and The League Against Tedium) as Queen Elizabeth and Miles Jupp (Perrier-nominated comedian and Archie in Balamory) as Raleigh.

"The result of all these stellar talents coming together is just a joy; a lavish, mad multimedia bash." THE SCOTSMAN
